who's left and who's leaving

two more days have happened and so much more has occurred than you ever thought would, or i ever thought would for that matter.

there is possibly some kind of relationship between man (and when i say man i mean man and woman, this is, after all and unfortunately, a phallogocentric society) and nature. like Emerson said, we are supposed to see ourselves in the  blossoms of nature, but maybe we can’t? i can’t really tell.

some people will always be running or feeling that awful guilty feeling you get when you start running for days and get this excellent routine going but flake out slowly and hate yourself. i think avoiding the entire thing is, perhaps, the best strategy.

spending the summer working on recipes and getting rather good doesn’t matter when you return to the messiest kitchen ever and can’t stand standing there let alone wanting to cook something. turkey sandwiches are one thing but something with pumpkin would be good. we make enough fly traps to catch all of the flies in the whole world but it isn’t enough.

we’ve had cats. cats all around these last few days. i don’t really mind cats. in fact, i rather like them. the cat we had has a reward out for her return. i was holding, perhaps, $15 or $20 in my lap and didn’t even know.

tim is listening to neil young now and in the car and quite a bit today. that’s ok. neil young is good. there are lots of things that are good. what else is good in your opinion?
